This site gives details of The Ambisonics Association and its work.
The website "ambisonic.ch" is no longer available since 22.08.2017. Initially created by Michael Chapman in 2008, it contained essential information like the Ambisonics Channels' formulas. I exported it from the web archive and embedded it here correct to the original. They are available here again for all interested parties. The use and copying of the content are allowed. Modifications are prohibited. Ambisonics is Open Source today, as most of the patents have expired. Exceptions see these, please have a look here: https://de.qaz.wiki/wiki/Ambisonics#Patents_and_trademarks. Those who are not familiar with the legal arguments of open source licenses etc. emphasized that the purpose of ownership of intellectual property is inclusive and not exclusive. Each trademark(s) should be usable by all members on material that, for example, conforms to the corresponding specification.
